Michelle Ross is the Pushcart Prize-winning author of four books, most recently Don’t Take This the Wrong Way (EastOver Press), which she co-authored with Kim Magowan. Her fifth book, Squash, is forthcoming from Moon City Press in 2027. Her work has been anthologized in the North Anthology Flash Fiction America; Best Small Fictions 2021 and 2023 (in which it was one of ten spotlighted stories); and Best Microfiction 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2026. She’s an editor at 100 Word Story.
